Hello viewers, I write this as I finish up the production of the remake of C&C: Present 4 Ya (2005). This also means that it’s the 20 year anniversary of the first one.

Ah, 2005. When I was much less mature but not much less passionate about animation
This entire production technically started when I made the first Tiberian Sun unit, Cpl. Walker, which was a custom unit initially made for Mister Keys.
Which was only considered complete with the creation of the actual Wolverine custom model which was what he actually requested
As more and more Tiberian Sun units were commissioned for the Custom Units perk, the creation of Present 4 Ya 2 crept ever closer.
The actual animation and vfx and sounding part of the final animation took about 3 months with additional assets created that were important for the animation. (the flux compensator and the wormhole mountain and the GDI fob for example)
Figuring out how exactly to make the chronal warp-in fx was also a challenge and I used the original RA1 cutscene warp in animation as a guide
The production of this animation should help me warm up to resuming EP09 as I was in some shock due to an unexpected change in IRL things.
I hope the final animation is fun to watch and evokes some nostalgic feelings. Looking forwards to see the discussions about this animation.
