Roles and Responsibilities of Teams within Academy

Content Teams’ Overview

Ensure that there is a sense of coherency throughout any series of lessons and the whole platform in general e.g. that the relationship between fundamentals and project lessons makes sense. To ensure meaningful journeys for our learners. Due to ongoing conversations regarding scaling up Academy, marketing, analytics, etc, leaving developments quite fluid, the two content teams are zooming in on the scope of each one in an effort to define their roles and responsibilities for ourselves, the other teams and onlookers.

Educational Content Team

“Bringing in content”
Create a profile of the user with Product and Design and tailor the content to this profile. It will help make the platform more coherent for authors, devs, users, marketers, designers, etc

have a means/doc to encourage content creators to have a sensibility of what is already on the platform before authoring
provide and encourage the use of content guidelines for authors: https://www.notion.so/developerdao/Guidelines-for-Content-b61f0e72a12f4045888049b9164e0b7e - it would be helpful to get feedback from authors on their interpretation of this and iterate upon it.
have clear understanding from Product and Design team on ‘what users expect/want from the platform’ (as per below) and ‘competition’ in the eco-system.
have an open line with grants team on potential content from external sources to imagine how this can fit in the existing content architecture

developing process of submitting for review by authors, content review with suggested revisions, re-submission with suggestions for additional revisions(only if necessary) or final review, then pushing reviewed content to D_D Academy GitHub repo
