For the final visual/one-pager, we should give accompanying examples/models for each part - like a mirror image of strategy against a model
Using this template before you begin creating your lesson will save you many headaches in the long run
- Meaningful title in two parts 1. general subject 2. this lesson deals with x, y or z
First paragraph:
- author gives brief intro on who the learner is (their level/capabilities);
- what other Academy lessons done/ competencies they have pertaining to content of lesson;
- brief indication of dev tool competencies needed i.e. previous experience
- what they’ll be able to do at the end of this lesson;
- what their next steps are after this lesson/subsequent lesson context;
- estimate time to complete (x mins for beginner ⇒ y mins for expert)
Second paragraph:
Provide our methodology/pedagogy/lesson structure for successful knowledge acquisition through user questions & quizzes throughout and at finish:
- We test user’s previous knowledge

- we ask user to predict what’s coming next

- a ‘cover-all’ quiz at the end
