Lil note: I moved in June 2022! I’m still perfecting my cable management

This was my current desk + setup as of Oct 2021!

I had a pretty standard setup for a while. It looked like this:

Now, I've made a couple changes.

  1. The room is a completely different room! I moved!
  2. The PC case is now Mini ITX instead of Mid Size ATX.
  3. There's only one monitor.
  4. Cables are much less visible.
  5. The deskmat and wrist rest are clean and different!
  6. The mouse got a slight downgrade, but the color matches everything else now!

Why did I change my PC case?

I really wanted a small case, especially after seeing Mintlodica's build, and realizing that Mini ITX builds may not be as intimidating as I thought they would be. (Note, it's still a lot of work, and I suggest you have someone who's had some form of PC build experience work with you to build one!) I also wanted to keep my case on my desk, like I had before I moved, but my current desk is smaller than the one I used to have (60" x 24" tabletop compared to my prior 79" x 24"). I had to get a smaller desk to accommodate splitting the office with my partner. They have the other half of this wall with their desk with their personal PC. I also insisted on wanting to keep my case on my desk so I can get to the wires on the back without too much hassle!
