Designer Fund is looking for a Content Strategist who is passionate about design, professional development and open sourcing knowledge about great design teams. The mission of Designer Fund is to invest in leaders and empower them with design to improve the world. We invest between $350K – $1M in early stage tech startups with founders who value design including Stripe, Gusto, Omada Health, Netlify, Notion, Framer, Remix and more. With every investment, our goal is to create exceptional products in huge markets that traditionally have poor user experiences like financial services, digital health and enterprise. Our community includes top designers and founders from companies like Apple, Facebook, Google, Airbnb, Pinterest, Dropbox and more.
To further our mission, we've produced and open-sourced resources for founders and designers, like A Guide for Working with Design Freelancers and Creative Studios, A Founders' Guide to Hiring your First Designer, 20 Levers for Return on Design, and the Design for Business Impact case study library, that have reached over a million page views. We want to continue to develop high quality, value-add content and resources at the intersection of design and venture.
As a Content Strategist, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing Designer Fund’s content and marketing strategy from end to end. This will include idea generation, research, writing, and promotion. You'll also collaborate with illustrators and designers to ensure the output is unique and high quality. This will be a part-time role, 20-30 hour/week, with flexibility on how you use your time.
