We are looking for a Data Science Content Writer to join our fast-growing team. This is a part-time role with a required time commitment of 15-20 hours per week.
What you'll work on:
- You design and develop creative and educational data science and coding projects that showcase the power of Deepnote. This includes projects all across the board, from exploring open datasets, showcasing ML papers, building tutorials for popular Python libraries, to giving guidance about best practices in using Deepnote features.
- You work on content that supports our broad user base at different skill levels - from Python beginners all the way to advanced data scientists and ML engineers.
- You will work with our Data scientist and a broader group of content contributors and users, and support them to create content under a coherent strategy.
- You will form opinions that will impact the strategic direction of our product and community.
About you:
- You are an experienced data scientist fluent in Python, R & SQL.
- You have at least 1 year of industry experience.
- You are comfortable navigating uncertainty, taking on large projects, and driving them end-to-end.
- You have excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- You have a marketing muscle and a passion for sharing what you're building.
- You are excited about educating others and building projects that can help the community understand how to best leverage the power of Deepnote.
Bonus points:
- You have an existing audience in the data science domain (e.g., blog, YouTube channel, community).
- You have experience with multiple content formats - video, audio.
