Behind every great product is a great organization. We are looking for Deepnote's Chief of Staff who'll help us build that organization. As Chief of Staff, you'll work directly with the CEO and other team leads to shape our culture and set up processes as we scale the company from 20 to 200 people.
What you'll work on
There is no blueprint for what your day is going to look like. That's because you'll decide. Your only goal will be to remove any roadblocks that hinder our growth. As such, you'll find yourself wearing many hats. On any given day, you might find yourself:
- Sourcing new candidates and working with our talent partners to build a stellar team of makers, explorers and executives
- Preparing materials for the upcoming board meeting or fundraising round
- Driving business development experiments in user segments where we see signal of product-market fit
- Curating our internal documents and handbooks
- Designing compensation and payroll process for a new region we're hiring in
- Organizing internal events such as technical talks or team-wide roadmap syncs
- Planning our next offsite somewhere awesome
- Automating the heck out of things that are not core to our business, like accounting or swag shipping
- Supporting our Growth team with executing new strategies or validating hypotheses
- Searching for the next office space for our headquarters
About you
- You're based in / excited to relocate to Prague (it's awesome)
- You're an execution machine and highly organized
- You have 2+ years of professional experience. You can succeed in this role coming from many different backgrounds. We imagine it might be a great fit especially for someone transitioning from consulting into entrepreneurship, a former investor or a product manager who wants to get a founder skillset.
