The Dashworks extension requests permissions to provide you with a smart and seamless experience while maintaining your privacy with our bank-level security.
When you install the Dashworks Chrome extension, we request the permissions listed below to improve your experience.
Dashworks uses your browsing history to personalize your search results. For instance, a document that you visit frequently is ranked higher so you can find it faster.
The extension only reads history from work productivity apps like Slack and Notion and ignores everything else. It will also never change your history. The history is completely private to you and is never shared with anyone else within or outside of your company.
Dashworks does not read or modify data on any non-Dashworks sites. We use this permission to skip the “install extension” onboarding step if we detect you are already using the extension.
Dashworks replaces your new tab page to give you easy access to all your work through the Dashworks search bar.
You can still search Google from the Chrome search bar at the top, or select the Google option when you start typing in the Dashworks search bar.
When you install the Dashworks Firefox extension, we request permissions.
Below are the permissions we request, and how we use them.
