About the Role

Dark Matter Labs is looking for a graduate/junior data visualiser/data programmer with outstanding data visualisation skills and an interest in strategic design, to support a series of innovation projects centred around a series of co-designed experiments in gathering qualitative & quantitative data and develop engaging and creative data stories, and help make more strategic decisions for collaborative action. You will also sit across the team and get the chance to work with many of the people and projects we have across the globe.

Who are Dark Matter Labs?

Dark Matter Labs is a mission led organisation. We're focussed on accelerating the societal transition we need in response to technological revolution and climate breakdown. We work for what we think this transition needs, not who will pay for it. To keep that transparent, we bias open work in collaborative partnerships so we can discover and design the institutional dark matter for a more democratic, distributed and sustainable society.

Dark Matter Laboratories is a growing team and currently incorporated in the UK (as a team within Architecture00 Ltd, part of Project00 Ltd), the Netherlands (Dark Matter Laboratories B.V.), Canada and South Korea.

Dark Matter is part of Project00 – the research, design & start-up studio behind Architecture00, Dark Matter Laboratories; Impact Hub Birmingham; Impact Hub Brixton; Impact Hub Islington; Impact hub Westminster; Opendesk.cc; WikiHouse.cc – amongst other organisations.

We support equality

Dark Matter Labs is an equal opportunities employer, and continue to educate ourselves on how we can improve. Humans from all nationality, race, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation and identity are welcome at Dark Matter Labs. We recognise and celebrate the true value of a safe and accepting working environment that only a diverse team can unlock, and work to address our underlying biases that can prevent that from materialising. Our projects and partners are spread across the globe and we aim to reflect the same diversity on multiple level in our team and with the partners we work with.
