It is said that Samael was a man who came from humble beginnings. He was a commoner, the son of a farmer, who had fled to Nephilim with his kin in hopes of a better life. And like many of the country’s youth, he sought to protect his new home. It was easy to lose him amongst the crowd of supposedly better folk. Nobles turned their noses up at him, taunted him but he pushed forever nevertheless. His trials and tribulations did nothing to snuff out the flame within him. At the young age of twenty, he brought honor to his family and to his country. Samael won the war, bringing forth an era of peace and prosperity. It was because of this achievement that he was granted the title of Grand Duke by her majesty. With his newfound power and wealth, Samael created the Imperial Academy.
Who would have guessed that his life would be stolen by the person who he held deal to his heart. Jealousy drives humans to do sinister things. Samael never saw it coming and so his fire was finally snuffed out.
