Street art and muralism are a cultural heritage of humanity, it is ephemeral while representing and narrating the stories of their surroundings. It has the power to regenerate public spaces, thus promoting urban culture.
We believe street art is a public good. We are a team of tech enthusiasts, Ethereum natives (a.k.a ethereans), and global muralists, who see in new technologies like Web3 and blockchain the chance to allow everyone access to art and to widen our visions, with no geographical limits, from the pavements of all countries to the virtual world.

CRYPTOMURALS is an open platform that curates and archives chronological murals geographically located worldwide, storing them on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing people to collaborate and preserve the cultural heritage of street art.

CRYPTOMURALS platform allows citizens to discover the chronological record of layers of murals painted on the same wall/spot from their mobile devices without cost. They can also filter the results by city, artist, or art style.
🧑🤝🧑 Community-owned and curated CRYPTOMURALS is a community-owned project funded thanks to grants and contributions, which makes it accessible to everyone as a public good. We promote active citizenship by rewarding active users that nourish the archive and the positive dynamics in the public space. We also onboard artists to Web3 and NFTs through our PLAYGROUND PROGRAM.
