Common Energy’s board and advisors include executives from Facebook, Google and President Obama’s cabinet. We are seeking a Software Engineer to be a key member of NYC team.
You will be our second developer meaning that you will be directly responsible for building crucial tools for the business and will take ownership over product maintenance and improvement. This also means that your impact will have a meaningful purpose in helping people to shift to renewable energy.
• You should be comfortable jumping in and learning new skills on our evolving product.
• You will have to be self-motivated and driven in order to succeed.
• You have experience in programming and interacting with APIs.
• You have experience with any server side programming language.
• You have experience with web scraping.
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional internal teams.
• You’ll architect and build product features from the database all the way to the UI.
• Build a platform to scale our solution nationally.
