CoderSchool is looking for a Product Manager to own the the web-related courses at CoderSchool. You'll be responsible for developing new courses, refining our existing courses, and analyzing the metrics behind everything. The key metrics for you to watch are job placement rate, number of enrollments, and student achievements.
In the Product Manager role, you will talk a lot with customers and employers, understanding their needs, executing product testing plans and iterating quickly based on insights. You will plan and manage new/existing product launches.
Main Responsibilities
- Set long-term roadmap for all full-stack web development courses at CoderSchool.
- Write, prioritize, and adjust user stories for product development teams
- Research employer demand and student needs to clearly define product goals
- Brainstorm and collect the best ideas from everyone on the team
- Analyze data to iterate rapidly
- Build resources, training, and communications for new product features and releases
Requirements
- Strong data-driven mindset. Knowledge of basic Python or SQL is a big plus, but not required.
- If no prior programming experience, willingness to learn is required.
- 1+ years of prior Product Management Experience or equivalent
- Familiarity with tech and/or education
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing stakeholders from different functions, ability to talk to academics, marketing, outcomes, and sales departments
- Bias towards action
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
