Generally, monetary value is distributed in the Network according to the participation in the value creation.
Profit obtained by the commercial work of the network has the primary objective to support the Network. This includes mainly community support, business development, technological development, outreach activities, operational, functional and administrative requirements.
At least 1% of all revenue is dedicated for natural protection and climate change mitigation projects.
A part of the revenue is distributed to the network members that actively participate in value creation. Contributors are primarily remunerated in this way except if agreed otherwise in a separate bilateral agreement. All transactions are to be made as transparent and debatable as possible under the data protection guidelines.
Value in the network is exchanged in the form of tokens, the COBIOM coins. Coins are created by the community managers relative to the amount of revenue created by projects in the network. The coins are distributed from the Core according to the value of contributions from collaborators to the project inside the Swarm platform. The value of a coins is relative to the revenue created quarterly in the entire network, i.e. the exchange rate will be deterimed at the end of each quarter.
