Clever Endeavour Games stands in solidarity with the black community, as well as with protestors, activists and support organizations.

We cannot remain silent in the face of racism and the kind of institutionalized violence that killed George Floyd in Minneapolis, Regis Korchinski-Paquet in Toronto, and so many more.

We also cannot remain idle. We are dedicating time to plan how we can best mobilize our resources in the fight against racial injustice, today and in the future.

Our first step was to donate to Protégeons Montréal-Nord Ensemble, a Hoodstock initiative to distribute protective equipment and sanitation kits to one of Canada's poorest and most densely populated neighborhoods, which has been hit extremely hard by COVID-19. Montréal-Nord is home to a lot of black people, people of color, and immigrants, many of whom are essential workers in environments at high risk of contagion.

The fact that this neighborhood and its people are disproportionately exposed to the pandemic is no coincidence in a society where racism has deep roots. It's just one of the countless manifestations of how racial inequality costs lives every day.
