As you're likely aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world hard and right now, India is in a dire situation. They're facing a variant of COVID which seems to have the potential to be more transmissible and more dangerous than the original strain. This threatens to completely overwhelm the medical system in the country, and they're desperate for oxygen and other supplies.

Clever Endeavour is donating $30,000 to a number of different organizations that are helping to get medical equipment and supplies to people in India as quickly as possible. The organizations that we're supporting come mainly from two lists compiled by local volunteers, which can be seen here and here.

The reason we're sharing this publicly is because we want to share these resources and hopefully inspire other game development companies who are in the position to donate to do so.

We're giving to the following organizations:

The Indian Red Cross

• Canadian government and the Canadian Red Cross has committed $10M to them
• One of the main groups authorized to handle donations related to COVID-19 from groups abroad

• Providing 50,000+ PPE Kits for ambulance staff — 300 ambulances (drivers and paramedics) require a minimum of 5 kits per day, per person
• Extending free ambulance support to the poor
• Incentivizing drivers to join the cause and reinvigorate ambulance supply

Healthcare Heroes via GiveIndia

• Setting up oxygen generation plants, providing oxygen concentrators, providing new oxygen cylinders, and refilling existing oxygen cylinders
• Providing BiPAPs and ventilators
