I enjoy investing directly in early-stage startups, where I can add value, such as helping founders with fundraising, product/design advisory, and connecting them to the right people!

After investing in tech startups and building a network of founders, experts, and investors for the past two years, I'm taking the next natural step and starting my syndicate, PaperJet Ventures (fka Renegade Capital). You can read more about this here.

I also enjoy writing about my angel investing journey here. I started this newsletter to:

• Do my part to demystify startup investing - an opaque world with only a few wealthy individuals participating (or at least I thought).
• Bring some transparency by sharing my first-hand experience.

I’m part of Hustle Fund’s Angel Squad, a community of angel investors. If you are starting your angel investing journey, I recommend joining an investment clan such as Angel Squad. Finally, I am also an industry mentor at MIT's I-Corps program to help future founders commercialize tech out of university labs by helping them in the problem validation and customer discovery phases.

Experienced early-stage startup founder & product manager

I started in tech as co-founder of Fog, an inventory management system for offline & online sellers. I learned how challenging it was to build a company from 0 to 1. I learned many lessons: “Ideas are easy; execution is everything!" Things that I would have done differently include:

• Validating ideas super early by talking to the right customers/users.
• Building products the right way with well-thought-out GTM strategies.

Those experiences have been valuable as I transitioned to the next step of my career.

I was the lead Product Manager of Contract Wrangler, an AI-driven enterprise SaaS solution that extracts and transforms contract terms into actionable data. I ran the core product roadmap and built our API integrations to Salesforce and DocuSign. Conga acquired Contract Wrangler in 2021.
