• FPMC는 MF와 MC를 결합한 방법론

  발표 자료

  • MC: Sequential 모델로, user의 최근 action들을 기반으로 다음 action을 예측하는 transition graph를 학습

• FPMC는 User마다 Transition Matrix가 존재 → 3차원이 되어 Cube 형태가 됨

• 학습을 위해 Sequential basket data에 BPR(Bayesian Personalized Ranking) 프레임워크 적용

• Baseline으로는 unpersonalized MC와 일반적인 MF와 비교

• **마르코프 성질(Markov Property)**을 가진 이산확률과정(discrete-time stochastic process)

  • 이산확률과정 : 시간이 연속적으로 변하지 않고 이산적으로 변하며(현재상태 -> 다음상태), 이에 따라 특정 상태가 발생할 확률이 변화하는 과정
  • 마르코프 성질 : 미래의 상태($o_t$)는 오직 현재의 상태($o_{t-1}$) 혹은 더 이전의 일정기간($o_{t-1},...$) 에만 영향을 받는다고 가정. 즉, 미래의 어떤 상태를 예측하기 위해 과거의 긴 이력을 필요로 하지 않는 성질(memoryless)

• 1차(바로 이전) MC 일때 확률식은 아래와 같음
