๐Ÿ’™ Our Values

Meritocracy of ideas

Center Health is a meritocracy, and the best ideas always win. It's our job to find these ideas through data, testing, and iteration, and to give a voice to all team members so that we always surface the best ideas, wherever they come from.

Strong beliefs, weakly held

Leaders are right, a lot, and this is only possible with strong judgment and good instincts shaped by data. We must always seek diverse perspectives and work to disconfirm our beliefs. We don't defend our ideas for the sake of being right or seeming smartโ€”it's the patient that matters.

Patient obsession

Leaders start with the patient, and work backwards. However we serve the patient, our prime directive is to always deliver the best.

High standards, devotion to quality

We maintain high integrity and deliver outstanding quality to forge industry-leading results in everything we do. We move fast, but never ship junk or deliver mediocrity to our patients or teammates.

Optimists and skeptics welcome, cynics not

Optimism challenged by skepticism is a powerful force. We are here to affect change and solve hard problems. That requires creativity, perseverance, and realism. But cynicism is an unproductive weight, and we can't afford to slow down.

Be excited, love happiness

Working with happy people is easy. We love life and are enthusiastic about achieving something outstanding. We aren't afraid to fall or take a hit, get back up, and persist. We love being happy, and helping others achieve happiness too.

Dedicated to self-improvement

We are relentlessly focused on self-improvement and becoming the best version of ourselves. We listen attentively, speak candidly, and treat others respectfully. We are vocally self-aware, even when doing so is awkward or embarrassing. Practice makes perfectโ€”we benchmark ourselves against the best.

Disagree and commit

We are obligated to respectfully challenge decisions when we disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable or exhausting. Leaders have conviction and are tenacious. We do not compromise for the sake of social ease, but once a decision is made, we commit wholly.
