CareerOS is a B2B2C career platform serving 100+ top universities worldwide - including Oxford, INSEAD, London Business School, Georgetown, and Notre Dame. We help 500K+ users land jobs they love. We're a small, high-output team based in Barcelona, operating with American startup intensity - we ship fast, own our decisions, and push each other to do great work.
We work in small squads, each owning their own area of the product end-to-end.
We're looking for an Associate Product Manager who's analytical, user-obsessed, and excited to learn product craft in a fast-moving environment. You'll report to the CPO and our Head of Product, and work directly with engineering, design, customer success, and marketing.
What you'll actually do
You won't just write tickets. You'll shape how we build.
- Support feature delivery end-to-end - From discovery to release. You'll write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You'll work side-by-side with engineers and designers to ship high-quality features.
- Talk to users constantly - Join customer success calls, run user interviews, conduct usability sessions. You'll collect and synthesize feedback into clear product problems and opportunities.
- Help with product analytics - Support defining events, building funnels, and tracking KPIs. You'll query data with SQL, help monitor feature adoption, and contribute to dashboards the leadership team uses.
- Communicate product changes - Write release notes, coordinate with marketing on launches, help sales and CS understand new features. Clear communication is part of shipping.
- Work with AI tools daily - We use LLMs for research, prototyping, documentation, and automation. You should be comfortable (or excited) working this way.
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- 1-3 years in product, analytics, engineering, consulting, or similar - You've done work that required structured thinking and shipping something real
- Strong SQL skills - You can query product and user data yourself, not wait for someone else to pull it
- Comfortable with AI tools - You already use LLMs in your workflow for research, writing, analysis, or automation
- Excellent communication - You can turn ambiguous input into clear requirements and explain technical topics to non-technical people
- Fluent English - Written and verbal; this is essential
