In an effort to ensure California can quickly and efficiently administer vaccines when given additional supplies, California Volunteers is calling on Californians to help administer COVID-19 vaccinations across the state.
Help us accelerate the administration of vaccines and save lives by helping recruit medical professionals to volunteer and encouraging participation by Californians from all backgrounds to support on-site operations at vaccination sites.
There are a variety of ways Californians will be able to help the state’s COVID -19 vaccination efforts, and we are asking for your help in spreading this message and ensuring the safety of all Californians.
Volunteer at a vaccination site: Step up to serve by signing up at myturnvolunteerca.gov to volunteer at vaccine distribution sites. Medical and nonmedical volunteers will be needed to serve their communities.

Directing medical or general volunteers to sign up online at MyTurnVolunteer.ca.gov: Medical and general volunteers will be needed to serve their communities. Through the My Turn - Volunteer platform, Californians can sign up, see volunteer opportunities near them, and register for specific shifts.
Sharing far and wide: We are providing talking points, social media posts, and collateral you can leverage in your recruitment efforts. Do not limit yourself to social media, please share far and wide on newsletters, websites, podcasts, and more. Create fliers for high-traffic areas of your neighborhood, reach out to members of your community, and speak to local medical professionals.
Recording a video and encourage others to volunteer: We know that others are more likely to get involved or help out if they see someone they know and trust encouraging them to do so. Please use this script below as a guide to record a call to action video for your networks.
Tagging us so we can generate a buzz: In order for us to create a successful recruitment campaign we must rely on each other's digital media presence to maximize our reach and generate as much buzz as we can. Be sure to tag our socials listed below.
