<aside> π‘ The Flowtime Technique is a timed productivity method developed by ZoΓ« Read-Bivens that allows you to manage your focus and learn about your behavior. It emphasizes unitasking above multitasking, with the purpose of keeping you focused on a single task for as long as you need.

The purpose of The Flowtime Technique is to maintain your βflowβ. It is personalized to you as you have complete control over when and how long you work and take breaks. This means you won't be interrupted for a forced break, but you'll always be able to take a break if you need it. The data recorded gives you an in-depth understanding of your productivity habits and how you can use it to better plan your day β by identifying your most productive hours, your source of distractions, and if there is a link between your break lengths and continuous work time.
The beauty of The Flowtime Technique is that it is personalized, meaning the length of your break is completely up to you. However, the recommended break times are as follows:
90 minutes of work = 15-minute break
That being said, it is important that you take a break in amounts that allow you to feel rested and productive β how short or long that means is completely up to you.
