Welcome to the African Recovery Mentor’s Platform
On the quest towards building capacity on the African Continent, African Recovery is currently seeking experienced professionals and entrepreneurs who will serve as mentors. Your main goal as a mentor is to inspire and support the personal and career development of candidates who apply for the Africa Recovery mentoring program.
This is a mentoring program aimed at improving the capacity of mentees on a journey to career discovery, personal growth and impact for nation-building.
GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION
Mentors, are select professionals across diverse fields who are:
• Africans living and working in Africa or in diaspora • Available and able to commit to two mandatory virtual mentor training sessions • Committed to giving back and influencing the next generation for impact for mentors • Willing to share their skills, knowledge and expertise • Available to commit to a 6-months mentoring period • Demonstrable experience in a profession/expertise in one or more industries • Able to guide young individuals and track their progress of the period under consideration.
RULES GUIDING THE MENTORING PROGRAM
The following is a guide for mentors:
Commitment period is 6 months.
Mentors would be required to work with mentees to schedule and agree in advance to meeting mode, date and time.
Minimum number of meetings for the mentoring period is 4 session.
Cancellations should be communicated with 2 days advance notice on either side.
We discourage no-shows so as to maintain the integrity of the program.

Mentors and Mentees would be required to create a meeting schedule for each month. Minimum meet time for the mentoring period is 3 meetings
