Mayvenn came to us with one question “How do we use influencer marketing in an authentic way to tell our story, increase brand awareness, and improve online sales?”

Approach

About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer over the course of her lifetime (src). The most common treatment for breast cancer is Chemotherapy which is known to kill rapidly growing cells and eventually affecting the patient's hair growth. As a result, most women choose to shave their heads, essentially shaving their confidence.

During breast cancer awareness month, we partnered with Mayvenn to launch a campaign focused on the beauty of hope. Mayvenn agreed to donate a portion of its October sales to a non-profit benefitting breast cancer research.

We paired Mayvenn with 3 beauty influencers and 3 breast cancer survivors who shared their story of hope to help women see their beauty through and after their diagnosis.
