pinthat is a tool that lets you pin UI elements and deliver them as context to Claude Code, the coding assistant operated by Anthropic. This policy explains what information pinthat handles, how that information moves through the product, who receives it, and the choices you have.
pinthat is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not operate servers that store your pinned content, we do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train models.
When you use pinthat to capture a UI element, the captured content is processed locally on your device and then delivered to Claude Code. This content may include:
This content is handled only to fulfill your request to send it to Claude Code. pinthat does not transmit it to any server operated by us.
pinthat stores your preferences and settings — such as keyboard shortcuts, default options, and any locally cached history of pins you have chosen to save — on your device. This data does not leave your machine unless you explicitly pin content that includes it.
