Bit Project started with a simple problem.
Students do not have any way to learn the essential skills for free.
Faced with this idea, Daniel Kim (founder) talked to a few of his friends from UC Davis to found Bit Project. The idea was simple. We want the ability for someone enrolled in a university program for computer science to get the skills they needed, free of cost, to get a great job at leading tech companies.
🏠 Build Technical Communities
🍻Put the "Fun" in Tech
💞Integrate with Industry / Academia
Bit Project is a student-run non profit organization that develops projects to make technical education accessible to all. As students, we understand what it takes to make education fun and engaging in a way that other students will gain the most out of the experience.
We partner with software engineers, developer advocates, and recruiters from leading tech companies such as Microsoft, Twitter, Postman, and MongoDB to develop awesome educational resources and distribute them to students around the world.
You can join our team and work on any project, from coding bootcamps to professional development workshops, to make technical education accessible to all.
