PhD in Forest Entomology

I am a forest entomologist based in Austin. I work as Regional Forest Health Coordinator for the Texas A&M Forest Service in Central and West Texas.

I am interested in science-based forest management in the context of climate change and invasive pests. My work focuses on:

• monitoring, early detection, and management of forest pests.
• national and regional initiatives to reduce the impact of native and invasive forest threats.
• building capacity in forest health through extension and outreach activities.
