INTRODUCTION

The Axterik mobile app is a social financial management solution that aims to simplify transactions and help users manage their money on the go. With its wide range of features and functionality, it offers a convenient and easy way for individuals to keep track of their finances, whether they're making local or diaspora transfers, managing multiple business accounts, organizing transactions, paying bills, and more.

In this UX case study, we will examine the design and user experience of the Axterik mobile app, exploring how its features and functionality meet the needs of its users and how its user interface enhances the overall user experience.

Understanding the Problem

Understanding the problem is a crucial first step in any UX design project. For the Axterik mobile app, we identified several problems in the financial transactions and money management space that the app aims to address. These problems include the complexity of making local and diaspora transfers, difficulty in keeping track of multiple business accounts, inefficiency in organizing transactions, difficulty in identifying the recipient, lack of visibility in financial activity, inconvenience in paying bills and topping up airtime, challenges in managing contributions and referrals, difficulty in managing multiple financial products and services, and difficulty in verifying identity and compliance.

The Goal

The goal of this UX case study is to improve the user experience of the Axterik mobile app by addressing the pain points and usability issues identified in the research phase. Our aim is to design a solution that simplifies the process of managing financial transactions and money on the go, making it easy and convenient for users to send money, pay bills, purchase tickets, and manage their finances from a single app.

By improving the user experience of the app, we hope to increase user engagement and adoption, as well as improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Ultimately, our goal is to design a mobile app that meets the needs and expectations of the target audience and provides a seamless and enjoyable experience for users.

My Role

As the UX designer for the Axterik mobile app, my role is to ensure that the app provides a seamless and intuitive user experience. To achieve this goal, I will be working closely with my UX partner to understand the user's needs and pain points and to create a design that meets those needs.

Together, we will conduct user research and analysis to gain a better understanding of the target users, their behavior, and their preferences. We will also create user personas and user journey maps to help us visualize the user's experience with the app.

Based on our research and analysis, we will develop the information architecture and wireframes for the app. We will also create high-fidelity designs and prototypes to test and refine the app's user interface.

Throughout the design process, my UX partner and I will collaborate closely to ensure that the design is consistent, functional, and meets the user's needs. We will also gather feedback from users and make adjustments as needed to ensure that the app provides the best possible user experience.
