My name is Melissa Barrass and I am a Product Designer living in Newcastle, NSW.

I believe that design has the ability to empower, delight and create a more equitable society. Human rights and the environment are at the core of my design practice.

My approach to design is deeply human-centred, and I work across product strategy, user research, user experience design (UX), and user interface design (UI).

I love the challenge of understanding and designing solutions to complex experiences in order to create intuitive and meaningful products that people genuinely enjoy using.
