Abstract

Overall mental and physical health is positive. And members don’t feel Research Guild Work adds stressors in their lives. We did learn a lot about other qualities of the membership and we look forward to our discussion next Saturday. Seems members are in favour of pro-health activities.

The next question we would like to ask, is can mental and physical health be improved as a result of being a Research Guild Member.

Introduction

Folks are always coming into the research guild and have an interest in doing research that looks at members’ health and looks for ways to improve our working environment.

Current Rationale

We wanted to assess Guild Member health and we wanted to understand if guild activities had an impact on the mental health of Guild Members.

Background to study:

Previous Interest in looking at DAO member health

Health Research Proposal - Research Guild

Our Current Study

We decided to narrow the scope and focus on guild health while also providing an educational opportunity to develop research skills in surveying, data analysis, and reporting.

Methods:

Survey link to the survey Survey provided to Guild Members, potential pool of 80 respondents and we had 60. The data was analyzed in a small group discussion format, over the 3rd & 4th period of season 5. We will have 1 more week of async discussion concluding with a deep dive discussion next sat at 7 pm UTC in the Lab.
