Occasionally you may see chatbot interactions that aren't providing value, such as someone trolling your bot. A simple way to stop these conversations is to mute the lead in Mav.

What does muting a lead do?

When you mute a lead in Mav, the user can still send messages to your Facebook Page, but Mav stops engaging in the conversation.

How to mute a lead:

  1. Log into your Mav account

  2. Head to your Inbox and find the lead you'd like to mute

  3. Click Options

  4. Select Mute

That's it!

Note: If you change your mind, you can always click back into the lead, select Options, then Un-Mute.
