🌱 Overview

Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) is a new business model introduced by Battery Smart, marking a shift from pure infrastructure and operations to a consumer-facing, scalable product offering.

The BaaS app represents the starting point of this transition: an MVP built to validate the model, enable real users, and generate revenue. With the MVP now live and performing well, the focus has shifted to revamping the product for v2, ensuring it can scale reliably for a mass consumer audience

I worked on designing the BaaS app that powers this model, helping translate a new business idea into a structured, scalable product experience.

The existing partner-led business model was effective, but not infinitely scalable.

As the business matured, it became clear that:

BaaS emerged as a strategic solution—a way to unlock new growth while leveraging Battery Smart’s existing infrastructure and operational expertise
