Congratulations again on progressing to this stage! We're absolutely over the moon to have you in the process, and are really excited about seeing what you can do. 🌛

If you're still interested, we'd like to ask you to complete a trial project. The team has created a simulated scenario and you will have a chance to interact with the other members of the team during the next part of the interview process, which includes a role-play based on the work completed in this trial project. There is some more info about why we run practical projects right here.

NB: Please spend no more than 1 hour on this task (yes, I really mean it.) We recognise this may mean you come back with an incomplete design, or only a few weeks designed, that is fine! We’re more interested in your approach and ideas than we are in having sight of the detailed week by week activities. The template provides advice and guidance on how you should go about design as well as an example of what we’re looking for.

Delivery: Send your submission to [email protected]. You can use any tool you deem appropriate. We like using Notion here at Aula, but a .Pdf/PowerPoint/Google doc is fine as well.

Scenario

  1. Review the course materials for the Urban Innovation and Policy MPA module and the video of the initial meeting with the module leader.
  2. Create a wireframe (a high-level outline) of how you would adapt or completely redesign the course to ensure it:
    1. Included active, social and applied learning pedagogies
    2. Could be delivered in a hybrid-flexible way

Please present your design on this template and provide a short rationale for how you have approached your design.

Note: Please make sure you cover some course content, and not just the welcome or introduction week (although these are lovely to see, we'd like to see your approach to the learning itself!)

Good luck! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

What we look for

Other tools which may help

  1. The Aula Brain
