Code of Conduct for Reviews

We strongly discourage reviews and the review-based culture due to how it is often linked to abuse, coercion, and other negative behaviours, which we do not wish to provide space for in our community. Our community will always strive to put workers' needs first, and we feel this policy allows for reviews while also keeping power explicitly in the hands of the workers. (If you are a worker and do not wish to have any reviews written for you, please write "No Reviews!" or something to that effect in your profile bio.)

That said, some providers have voiced a desire for reviews, and some clients have also voiced a need for reviews as a way of measuring trust and reputation before booking a provider. These are both behaviours that have been ingrained within sex work for many years, and cannot be changed overnight.

Therefore, if you must post a Switter review, we require the explicit consent of the provider it is written about. (Please keep evidence of this consent from the provider and be prepared to send us a screenshot in the event of any disputes.)

We will remove all reviews that are reported to us, based on the following guidelines:

  1. The review uses any form of rating system (numeric, star, etc) of a provider's appearance/performance. Keep your reviews to general statements about your experience.
  2. The review contains explicit or crass language, reveals intimate or personal details, describes any illegal activity, or uses language that relies on negative stereotypes of sex work.
  3. The review is about you, and prior consent was not granted by you for it to be posted on Switter.
  4. Is demonstrably fake, or written to deliberately cause harm/damage to the reputation of the provider.
