Summary

A discussion of how to design a holistic financial planning process tailored to the unique needs of successful international citizens living in the U.S. We’ll also explore in depth some of the primary financial challenges this community faces.

Background

There is a large and growing demographic of successful foreign-born professionals living and working in the United States. However, they are often surprised and confused by the increased complexity of their personal financial affairs as a result of obtaining US tax residency, as well as by the lack of credible resources to turn to for help and advice. Many long-time residents may be considering moving away from the U.S., which brings with it other financial uncertainties.

In this presentation, Mr. Fisher will offer an outline to other financial planning professionals for developing a holistic cross-border planning experience, while also addressing the most critical areas of confusion among this community. The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A.
