I find the 1/3/1 outline method to be one of the easiest way to start writing, especially for email newsletter and social media writing.

1/3/1 outline method consists of:

• One declarative sentence.
• Three supporting bullets.
• One conclusion sentence.

As you get more adept with using 1/3/1, you can stack the outlines to create a longer article.
