We're looking for a full time Admin Assistant to help us with the Part Time YouTuber Academy Course, Community and YouTube Channel. You'll be working closely with our Academy Manager and Community Manager.

This is the perfect role for someone who wants to work from home, loves administrative tasks and being part of a team. You'll get to help with creating an amazing customer experience for a huge number of students, work with a bunch of enthusiastic people in a rapidly growing business, and learn a whole lot about YouTube along the way, for whatever that's worth.

Job details:

  1. 40h/week, spread throughout the week (including some weekends)
  2. Flexible workdays and work hours, all work will be remote
  3. Salary: GBP £19,000-£28,000/year (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing:

  1. Customer Support. Managing the email inbox and answering student questions and resolving issues. This includes:
    1. Payments (refunds, upgrades, downgrades, sending invoices, changing payment methods)
    2. Customer Support emails (access to: teaching platforms, session recordings, calendars)
    3. Organising calls between us and students for onboarding and support.
  2. Administrative tasks delegated during the academy (details will be provided)
  3. Attending community events and taking note of the questions asked and resources mentioned (online)
  4. Reaching out to other YouTubers and organising times for recording podcasts and videos for the Academy
  5. Opportunity to contribute towards the creative output of the PTYA YouTube channel and assisting with developing a community of over 1,000 YouTubers

We're looking for someone who is:

  1. Fluent in English - all communication needs to professional
  2. Highly organised: punctual with attending meetings, taking meeting notes, completing tasks in time and keeping us updated with their progress
  3. Enthusiastic about customer support: the role includes a lot of email communication with our students. Being helpful, resourceful and polite is essential
  4. Comfortable reaching out to other creators via email: approachable, enthusiastic
  5. Comfortable with Zoom, Notion, Email, Spreadsheets, Google Forms and similar platforms
