Air’s new integration with Slack helps teams stay aligned and connected with real-time notifications about Air activity right where collaboration happens — in Slack.
- With notifications about new uploads, new sub-board creations, comments, and custom field changes, users can be confident that no important update is going unseen.
To turn on slack notifications:
1. Navigate to the board you’d like to connect to Slack
2. Select Connect to Slack from the ellipsis menu next to the board name
3. Authenticate your Slack workspace and select a channel to receive notifications in
4. Once the integration is configured, all board notifications will be sent to the selected Slack channel

Users can now preview their doc, powerpoint, and keynote files directly in Air and without having to download + open the files on their computer

Supported formats show full previews in the asset modal and thumbnail previews in gallery or kanban view.
Document file formats with preview support:
- doc
- docx
- ppt
- pptx
- key

We distinguished the guest invite experience from the member invite experience even further to avoid any confusion.
- Members can only be invited from the settings members tab (app.air.inc/workspace/members)
- Guests can only be invited from boards (Share dropdown → Invite guests)
We added a “paid seat” flag to any invites that would have an impact on your bill to avoid accidental charges.
