Once your product catalogue is set up, you can start matching your products to the Q&A you created:
Aiden's recommendations algorithm is based on scoring and weighing every single product in your catalogue. The score of each product is decided by you when you match the products to the answers.
Each product has to be scored as either a bad, neutral, good or perfect match for each answer from the Q&A. Here's what that means:
Cross → Bad match
A bad match means the selected products are a bad fit for the answer. They will be less likely to be shown in the advice if a customer gives this answer.
A bad match can also be used to fully exclude products from the advice.
Circle → Neutral match
A neutral match means the selected products are neither a bad nor a good fit for the answer. They will neither less nor more likely to be shown in the advice if a customer gives this answer.
Single check
→ Good match
A good match means the selected products are a good fit for the answer, but not perfect. They will be slightly more likely to be shown in the advice if a customer gives this answer.
Double check
→ Perfect match
A perfect match means the selected products are a perfect fit for the answer, nothing could beat them. They will be much more likely to be shown in the advice if a customer gives this answer.
Navigate to Matching.
Select a question from the dropdown in the right panel.
Every question is marked as either unmatched or all done. Unmatched means this question (still) needs some matching.
You will now see all the answers you created for this question in the right panel:
On the left, you can also see the answers as columns in a table, along with all of the products in your catalogue as the table rows:
The first column contains the products. Each row is a different product. The second column contains the product ID. The other columns are the answers. The answer rows contain the matching buttons.
Simply find the product you want to match, then click on one of the icons for bad, neutral, good or perfect for each answer.
Make sure to match every product to every answer. The goal is to have 0 unmatched products left for every answer — this ensures the best advice for all users!
When you're done matching, the question in the dropdown will be marked as "all done!":
