During the months of August -to December , members of our organization participated in an exciting Open Hardware course called the Open Hardware Academy. This course was organized by the prestigious University of Delft in the Netherlands. [https://www.tudelft.nl/open-hardware](Deltf University Course)

During the course, the Ottawa Bio Science Club embarked on a remarkable project. They worked diligently on developing a multitask microscopy solution using an innovative open-source microscope known as the OpenFlexure microscope. This project aimed to revolutionize the field of microscopy by creating a versatile and accessible tool for scientific research.

Throughout the course, our members collaborated with fellow participants, sharing knowledge and expertise. They attended engaging lectures and hands-on workshops, deepening their understanding of Open Hardware principles and techniques. The course provided valuable insights into the world of hardware development and fostered a sense of community among the participants.

With dedication the Ottawa Bio Science Club successfully completed several iterations of the project. The multitask microscopy solution they developed using the OpenFlexure microscope was appreciated by both the University of Deft and their fellow course participants.

The Open Hardware Academy and the project created by the Ottawa Bio Science Club are excellent examples of the power of collaboration and innovation in the field of Open Hardware. They serve as inspiration for future endeavors and demonstrate the potential for creating impactful solutions through the open-source community.
