Embracing innovative technology while having a pragmatic approach to make things happen is what our engineering team is made of. Fullstack is a big word, we know. We appreciate you might lean more towards backend or frontend and we make sure your skills are complementary to the rest of the team.
This role will ideally be hybrid with 2-3 days based in the office and the rest working from home, but we are flexible and open to remote working applications as well. There must also be flexibility from the applicant to attend multi-day workshops in London as and when required for R&D and team building purposes. Our offices are based within walking distance from Farringdon.
Technologies Used:
Our stack evolves with the projects we work on. Our frontend work is based around modern React applications (Next.js, Remix, as well as proprietary SSR), using CSS-in-JS (styled-components, stitches, vanilla-extract) and Typescript. In close collaboration with designers we are building design systems to make it easier to build consistent interfaces.
Our backends run on node.js and interfaces with the ecosystem of microservices and the CMS. These are backed by various types of data storage, including DynamoDB, Redis and MongoDB.
The infrastructure for our projects runs on AWS and Cloudflare, making use of services such as Cloudflare workers, AWS EKS/ELB/S3 and AWS hosted database solutions. Configuration is managed through Terraform.
