By default, Sendloop takes the necessary precautions to ensure that your data is both secure and private. However, you can enable two-factor authentication to make it more difficult for unauthorized parties to access your account.

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-factor authentication is a method of securing the authentication process. When logging in, you'll need to provide your email address and password. If you successfully do so, you will then be asked to provide an Authentication Token, which you can get only using your smartphone. Essentially, you'll be asked to prove who you are twice, which reduces the changes that an unauthorized person can gain access to your account.

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

To enable two-factor authentication, click on your name in the top right-corner of the Sendloop Dashboard after logging in. From the drop-down menu, click Settings. Switch over to the Account Security tab.

On Account Security, choose the country where your mobile phone is registered, and enter your mobile number (without dashes or dots).

You will then receive an SMS message with a link to download the free Authy app. You will use this app to get the security codes needed to log into your Sendloop account.

When you next log into Sendloop, you'll be asked for your email address and password. If you provide those correctly, you will be asked to provide an Authentication Token. This is where you will input your Authy security code. Only by providing a correct value can you access your account.

If you want to disable the two-factor authentication during the login process, you need to initiate and complete the password reset process.
