The only reason Zeus was spared was because his mother gave Cronos a rock instead of the child. His parents are Rhea and Cronos.
Zeus is the co-protagonist. He is the king and father of the gods, ruling over Mount Olympus. God of thunder, sky, and energy. His parents are Cronos and Rhea, and he is married to his sister Hera. Zeus is one of the three most powerful gods: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. He seeks to maintain his status of power in the face of Cronos' threat to reclaim his throne. Zeus's primary objective is to defeat his father once again and prevent Cronos from reversing time.
Moreover, Zeus sees an opportunity to defeat his father with the help of Halia, so he aims to use her to his advantage. Cronos was the father of several children with Rhea: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon, but he swallowed them immediately after their birth, as Gaia and Uranus had foretold that he would be overthrown by his own child, just as he had dethroned his father.
When Zeus was about to be born, Rhea sought advice from Gaia to devise a plan to save him and give Cronos the rightful punishment for his actions against his father and his own children. Rhea hid on the island of Crete, where she gave birth to Zeus. She then deceived Cronos by giving him a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes, which he swallowed without suspicion. Thus, Zeus was the only child of Cronos who was not devoured by his father. Thanks to this, he managed to defeat Cronos and save all his siblings, becoming the king of the gods.
Physical Appearance
Physically, he was unrivaled. He has a youthful appearance, with long white hair down to his shoulders. His body is strong and highly toned. He has the ability to change shape and size. Additionally, he possesses flight, summoning, detection, prescience, conjuration, elemental conjuring, telekinesis, energy bestowal, teleportation, immortality, regeneration, and super strength.
Personality
As his physical appearance suggests, Zeus is arrogant and self-confident, and his innate charisma leads others to admire him and unquestioningly follow his decisions. He is also authoritative, possessive, dominant, and condescending. He speaks directly and is sure of himself.
He is the most powerful god, and his most significant strength lies in his invincibility and projection abilities. His weakness was his lust and arrogance. He was misogynistic, intemperate, womanizing, impulsive, and choleric.
When he notices Cronos' interest in Halia, Zeus becomes highly curious. His arrogance does not allow any secret to elude him, and he doesn't hesitate to uncover what Halia is hiding. Seeing her mistrust, he decides to seduce her and pretends to have feelings for her when, in reality, he only thinks of his own welfare. When he discovers that she is a Titanide, he betrays her and sends her to Tartarus. He cannot tolerate the existence of someone more powerful than him; thus, he hates the Titans and won't permit any to be free.
Zeus is a relatively stable character. His personality appears to change when he meets Halia, becoming more understanding and approachable; however, it is all a deception. His strong personality and arrogance remain constant. His movements are thus secure and firm; he never hesitates but takes his time, savoring each action. He exudes elegance, especially when flying or fighting, which contrasts with acts of aggression and impulsiveness.
