Project Overview

ZENO is a conceptual mobile application designed to help electric vehicle owners manage their charging behavior more efficiently. The system integrates real-time vehicle status, intelligent charging configuration, energy usage analytics, and educational resources into a unified interface.

The project explores how interface design can simplify technically complex EV charging systems while maintaining transparency and user control. The design prioritizes clear information hierarchy, actionable insights, and intuitive configuration of charging preferences.

Context

As electric vehicles become increasingly common, users are required to interact more frequently with charging infrastructure and energy management systems. These systems generate large amounts of data related to battery levels, charging schedules, and energy consumption.

However, many interfaces expose this information in technical formats that are difficult to interpret quickly. Users often struggle to understand charging progress, configure schedules effectively, or evaluate the efficiency of their charging behavior.

This project investigates how a structured mobile interface can simplify EV charging management while still providing meaningful insights and control.

Problem Statement

EV charging systems generate complex operational data that is often presented without sufficient contextual clarity.

As a result, users experience difficulty when:
