Dear YxY Activists,
We have created this toolkit to provide you with the resources you might need to to influence, design, and transform your education. We conceive of our education not just as our schooling but rather as all of the ways we learn and grow, inside and outside of school.
This toolkit contains information on how to start an Action Circle, communication tips, wellbeing advice and practices, and resources.
This is a living document so we welcome and encourage you to give us your feedback, tell us what you would like us to add, and contribute to the toolkit by sumbitting resources or entries by emailing our team at [email protected].
Rather than reinventing the wheel, this toolkit was made by curating exisiting resources, often created by young people. We credit these organizations and people under "Sources" in every section.

Action Circles are small groups of dedicated individuals who convene regularly to discuss their schooling and education systems to support and inspire one another to reimagine and reclaim their education.
The circle is a very powerful and age-old methodology that recognizes that the act of bringing people together creates ripples of positive change through mutual support and accountability.
