On Feb 8th, 2021 the Leadership team clarified the following which are implicit to the currently published Minor Safety Policy. Most of this is FYI. Though I have a question about NP's ability to address the last bullet.

• Youth members do not get keys to the doors of either building
• Youth Interns who are officially in the youth intern program are an exception to this policy
• Youth 16 years and older with Yellow NP tool sign offs (Laser Cutter) can be issued fobs so they can use Yellow tools independently
• Youth may NOT use NP tools that are Red tools without supervision so therefore should not be able to turn on those tools by themselves.

Ask: the last bullet is the policy, can the tech be made to enforce it? I can see how it can be done manually now via an administrative process of simply not porting over sign offs for Red tools on records that are flagged with "Youth" or "Family 16-17). But what about when things go back to automatic downloading from WA to the NP database? So not an immediate ask, just an assessment of the policy's implementation strategy
