About

YJRT prepares 15 to 20 year old low-income Latino English Language Learner (ELL) youth for work or post-secondary education after high school by providing job skills training, academic support, financial literacy education, group projects for professional development, and internship placement. Students participate in program activities at least once a week during the academic year. Parents are enrolled in parent involvement workshops and Financial Empowerment classes. During the 10-month program, participants will learn about teamwork, resume writing, interviewing, and much more.
