hyperinflation - most common finding

flattening of diaphragm

elongated or tubular-shpaed heart

Increased AP diameter, or "barel chest"

may show bullae

Pneumonia

silhouette sign may be seen

chronic fibrosis -  terms = reticular-nodular and honeycombing (more advanced)

Congestive Heart Failure

Pulmonary vascular congestion or "cephalization"

cardiomegaly

Kerley B lines - represent fluid in the interlobular septa

proper position of the tip of an ET tube is 1-2 cm above the carina

The tip of central venous line = at the junction of the SVC and the right atrium (at the point where the right main bronchus is seen)
