Apple Health Sync
To see if your runs are being written to Apple Health:
- Open Apple’s “Fitness” app
- On the left you should “Sessions”
- If your recent run appears there, it’s working!

Troubleshooting
If you don’t see your runs you probably need to update your run tracking app settings so that it writes to Health. This happens automatically for Apple Watch, but for apps like Strava you’ll need too update the settings.
Strava → Apple Health
- Open Strava
- Click the “You” tab (bottom right”
- Click “Settings” icon (top right)
- Click “Manage apps and devices”
- Click “Health”
- Make sure it’s Connected and you’ve enabled “Send to Health”
