“Argh, why are there so many duff copywriters out there?”

I hear this from clients all the time… and I get where they’re coming from.

Ten years ago I thought I could write. Turned out I was wrong. Let me tell you, this was not a fun lesson to learn. But I’m grateful that it happened.

Since then I’ve been on a long and, yes, masochistic journey to understand the art and science of communication.

I now have an embarrassing amount of experience in delivering business results through writing. Sometimes that means framing offers to drive sales. Sometimes that means translating technical jargon into language a non-native speaker can understand. Sometimes that means figuring out how to say something nobody really wants to hear (cough data breach cough).
